Description:

This is a busy, front office position in a large department. Successful candidate will provide clerical support to all faculty members, produce and proofread various documents, answer phones/take messages, oversee room scheduling and the key and equipment check-out process, greet visitors to the department, track payments for various student activities, run multiple reports, answer questions from students and SUU employees, and maintain a clean and organized office space. Selected students will also provide TA support for psychology faculty, along with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a declared psychology major
  2. Must be dependable and show up to shifts on time
  3. Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Google Drive)
  4. Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  5. Must be able to successfully manage multiple priorities
  6. Must take direction well and remember instructions
  7. Must have strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to work independently
  8. Must be trustworthy to work with sensitive and confidential information
  9. Must be familiar with APA format
  10. Must complete FERPA training and Title IX training at the beginning of employment
